I am fighting so many demons currently that tumblr can’t be another one. It used to be a safe place, a criticism free zone, like that place after school where my BFF and I could talk and laugh, and just be ourselves. It’s not that anymore for me. Every swipe is another negative shit thing, and it’s fueling my negativity, and the monsters I used to battle on these pages aren’t being kept at bay anymore but instead rearing their very ugly heads directly at me and looking into my eyes. Every swipe is a jab, a hate, a sad. And that’s okay. That’s your space. And that’s your blog. And you can do what you want. The hurt is the commentary. The responses. But I am a product of this generation, and I can’t unfriend or unfollow people without fear, it’s just a thing you don’t do, YA know? I can only change myself. And that’s not using this for a while. I threatened it before, but it’s real now. It’s a season of change. It’s my year of change that hasn’t had any light in it yet. Times running out. There’s an email address that is this blog name at gmail dot com, if you’re so inclined while I am on a hiatus. For now, until next time …
